The problem with 'Local' bands

So im surfing youtube for some lesser known bands i really love (Monoral) in this instance and i get involved in these comments people from aroudn the world are making about vocalist's accents, guitar styles .. how good some 'foreign bands' (foreign for the USA) are (Monoral is Japanese and they kick ass). Well it got me thinking aobut my own 'local' bands and a few conversations ive had with these musicians. Local more specifically means the bands in and around Bhopal and in a more general sense the upcoming Indian bands.

Here are somethings that truly piss me off when i listen to the music we are producing today.

1. Vocals - Stop immitating a british, american or goddamn any accent. Sing like its your voice not like your trying to copy Dave Grohl or Chad Kroegner or Bonn Scott. I understand those men have/had distinct voices that you are very much in love with but my friend when you try to immitate a voice that doesnt suit you or rather shouldnt be immitated simply because your faking it .. it ends up sounding like piss being drained out of a fart machine. Just stop it.

2. Guitars - Hi, ever heard what a stomp box is .. or maybe an amplifier .. or pedals . .anything ... your using analog or digital .. your using presets or your own mixes .. just realise this .. having a good tone is jsut as important as having a good voice .. the tone is afterall the guitars voice .. so pelase pelase please ... i beg of you . .learn your equiment before you go live .
So many times ive wanted to rip someones head off because theyre using reverb when theyre asking for a delay .. or playing acoustic chords for a rythm but using a crunch .. when the crunch wasnt required .. or alternate picking chords on distortion and then shouting at hte 'sound wale bhaiya' because it sounds bad ... learn to make a good tone for your songs ... if you need help .. please go ask those who do know .. theres gotta be someone .. or go online .. learn fro mtheory first .. it helps.
next thing .. there are usually atleast two picupks on your dumbass guitar ... learn whats their differene .. wanna knwo how to get a slight crunch in your sound right after a mellow clean sound without changing a patch .. heres a hint .. PICKUPS, TONE and VOLUME. you see the volume tab isnt for the volume of the guitar .. thats in the bloody amplifier .. this is the volume sensitivity of your pickup .. so your playing rythm and wanna stop the guitar from picking up all those slight knicks and soudns your fingers are making .. turn the volume down dufus .... similarly the tone has a role to play .. and it all fits in wit hthe patch your using .... learn your equipments capabilities .....

3 - Bass - My dearest dearest friend .. a bass is not always a lead weapon of destruction .. usually its job is to set a rythm .. to provide a BASE . .a background for the song .... do you feel like a looser because your not playing solos or the idiot girl jumping i nthe front cant udnerstand what your playing .. if thats the case either shut up or give up the bass ... or maybe play songs with bass solo's ... haha ... jsut dont push up the bass volume so much that you sound liek a desperate fuck seeking attention at the cost of the song .... also .. a lot of bassits complain about how tough it is to play bass or how bad it sounds and when i take a look at hteir axe .. the problem satnds out .. jsut like their strings ... YOUR ACTIONS fucked up .... the bass strings have the highest tensile strength of all guitars my friend .. is it not natural for their nexk to get warped faster .... so jsut detune your bass after use and keep an allenkey handy .... two twists and your bass will feel like a new ride .....

oh there is a bt more id like ot point out but im jsut gettign sad and ive got 3 monoral songs buffered on youtube ...... goodbye for now
